Don't Quit Your Daydream

Updated: Aug 27, 2024

More often than not, we tend to allow society and those closest to us to tell us who we are, more so who we "should" be. Occasionally, we let those "should" phrases hold too much weight.

What about when we are told, you "could" be amazing, or that word, "potential" gets used to describe you:

I've always been told I have potential. I used to dislike the word because in short, I feel potential means you've got much to offer but you're not doing anything with it:

Simply put, not tapping into your greatness or being the best you that you could be, truth hurts. Deep down, we know ourselves, we know who we are and whom we dream of becoming. Maybe you're one of many who are just not sure yet or are unsure of how to get from point A to point B. Guess what? I am slowly but surely learning myself, want to know a secret? We already have the answers within us, we need only be still and trust our intuition, How?: Drown out the noise of the outside world, and spend time in solitude, my favorite place to do so is in nature. Before I go, I have a serious question for you: What's one thing you can't stop daydreaming about? My guess is, that there is something you desperately want to do in your life and you haven't done it yet. Go for it! Do it afraid, it's okay to be fearful, what's not okay is letting your fear stifle you. It's okay to take time in getting there, after all Confucius once said:

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."

Believe me, if anxiety-ridden ol' me (who never used to leave the house) can, you can too! We've got this, darlings! Love & Light Always, HBTH
